Car Rental Made Easy

Ever since the auto industry has become a household necessity everyone has at least one car per home. It does not matter if it is used or brand new as long as it gets you to where you need to go. Sometimes your car will break down and you will need to go get a car rental. You have many choices with what company to use for the best deal.

Avis is a major car rental company that was founded in nineteen forty-six in Detroit by Warren Avis. Their corporate motto is “we try harder” which has become very true since they are the second largest car rental company in the world. Avis has over five thousand branches worldwide and can cater to your spending needs with a nice vehicle to drive off the lot in.

Budget rent a car was founded in nineteen fifty-eight in Los Angeles, California by Morris Mirkin. In nineteen sixty the company was moved to Chicago, Illinois. More recently in the year two thousand and two the company was sold to Cendant Corporation which also owns Avis. The merge with the second largest car rental business was a booming success with the general public. It is suggested that you make reservations with Budget rent a car for the easiest and cheapest rates in this highly competitive business.

Alamo rent a car is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This car rental chain was founded in nineteen seventy-four and specializes in general motors automobiles. The type of car you will rent depends on the style. Economy cars include the Chevrolet Aveo. Compact car rentals include the Chevrolet Cavalier or Cobalt. Mid-sized would be a Pontiac G6, while a full sized Alamo car rental would be the Chevrolet Impala. Luxury is, of course, the Cadillac while the convertible is a Chrysler Sebring or similar. The only SUV available is the Chevrolet Trailblazer. If you want a minivan you can choose either the Chevrolet Uplander or the Astro.

National car rental is owned by Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc. which is the same company that owns Alamo rent a car. This corporation is virtually exact to Alamo. This company caters to the Emerald Club which has been around since nineteen eighty-seven and distributes rental vehicles over the internet all around the world.

The remaining car rental companies you can choose from include Dollar, Thrifty, Auto Europe, Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise and Rent-A-Wreck. These companies may have cheap prices but you may not be able to get the type of vehicle you want.
